This book is a lovely way to combine both my vice and my schooling. As I've always said I could talk to you for hours about fashion history and maybe, about 10 minutes about art history. As I was looking through I came across this photo from  Dali's film Venusberg (1939)
and all I could think about was Tim Walker's photo in one of last seasons fashion editorials.

Not the same, but could be cousins.

"The 20th century has begun to realize that most of life's meaning is lost without play_____In play the mind is prepared to accept the unimagined and incredible, to enter a world where different laws apply, to be free, unfettered"
- Eileen Agar, Am I Surrealist?
