They're are kind of perfect together.

Very New , New York.

So it's been one week in New York........how?

Patience is a virtue that I'm pretty light on. But life here has treated me well thus far. People told me they think New York and I will have a lovely affair.....I'm not looking to be a mistress (this time around)...this might be my first long-term relationship I've had (never really been one for commitment).

So here's the list with more to come provided I can get employed and keep funding my lists of NYC/Brooklyn enjoyment.

Week One:

Black Rabbit (Greenpoint) - thats where I'm writing this post from in perfect bar lighting
Blue Bottle (Williamsburg) - Best cold brew coffee I've ever had in my life and Sam Cooke for hours
Grumpy's Cafe (Greenpoint) - coffee that's too good for me to appreciate properly
Atlas Cafe  (Williamsburg) - to listen to good music, use the internet, and listen to people speaking Italian
Lit Lounge (East Village) - "I just wanna dance"
Sly Fox (East Village) - for those Ukrainian at heart with a light wallet
The NYC Ballet - A ballerina fell, like a small bird who's wings didn't work properly
Spoonbill & Sugartown, Booksellers  (Williamsburg) - newest moleskin provider
SPiN - if you must play ping pong with the intensity of Forest Gump
Fair Puck - Delicious drinks that remind me of Ally Bar at twice the cost
3rd Ward (Bushwick)- take classes and see people that are actually paid to create (also known as living the dream)
Catbird  (Williamsburg) - to see your favorite etsy seller's work in the flesh
SVA Theater - to listen to Diane Arbus give a lecture from the dead

Not mentioned are all the lovely grocery stores that sold me apples when the coffee shakes were too strong.
'Til next week's list.
